Armillary Platforms

The armillary platforms were developed in the early eras of the dragon empire to allow guardians to travel between fortresses. They provide protection from the mana of a leyline and travel along them at a blinding rate. Apart from a brief pause and reorientation at each pool their trips are almost instantaneous.
     Each ring of the armillary sphere acts as a pointer indicating your starting point and the route you wish to take to another fortress. In the base of each armillary platform there is storage for spare parts, often including extra rings, including one with a currently  unknown purpose.
