Satyrs
Satyrs, half goat, half human fae can often be confused with half goat demons. However fae satyrs are well known musicians and scholars of the faery world and their magic has nothing in common with demon magic.
They tend to be very sexually promiscuous and perhaps demon - satyr crosses are the source of the common goat characteristics found in the demonic race.
Fae satyrs are highly intelligent and individualistic in thier types of magic and their communities are loosely organized and highly mobile.
While often playful, they live in deep forests and hide from humans, whom they only rarely initiate contact with. Their general view is that most humans are dangerous. Though some are drawn by curiosity to enter the human world.
They carefully hide themselves when they enter the modern world and often only stay long enough to gather books or knowledge and then return to their homes in one of the fae dimensions,
They are also prone to entering the dreaming and like the Faery Folk left the world when the magic faded.
