Wraith

Black ghostly shadow creatures, wraiths are spirits of the dead called or bound by a demon. Used by the greater demons in many roles wraiths can exists anywhere shadows or darkness exists. Having no life force of their own, if left to their own devices they will steal life from any creature near them. They often cause plants in their vicinity to die and drop the temperature in a room. In the demon realm the temperature drop is considered something of a relief, though their tendency to steal life makes them dangerous to allow to roam. Many houses will bind their wraiths to objects so that they do not cause unexpected deaths.

While wraiths are somewhat immortal banishment and some light spells can kill them. They can not hold any Aradan, and will suck the life force from any being tied to them. This can be used as a punishment for demons and half-demons, and is usually set up by a Prince or one of the heads Noble houses.
