Lucien’s father and his family have a contract with the demon house Asiel that has been in force for generations. His father was a mage and the current head of the human family, his mother was a full demon from house Asiel. The contract provided the demons with access to water in exchange for magic. His family owned the manor in Malforet that Team 098 found the Orientani battle armour and gate at – see attached after incident report. The family was feared in the local community and Team 098 is still dealing with the after effects of their removal.

Lucien was raised and used as a mana generator for his family, and was not taught to cast spells. Unlike a true demon, Lucien does not feed on emotions, but he does get some of his energy from being around despair. He spent much of his childhood sneaking away to help in crowded homeless shelters or with the itinerant workers in the family vineyard. Lucien is currently being trained by IS51.

Before leaving France he became friends with Leta and they have kept up correspondance since. He is currently doing a work term in The Fortress of Light and Dark.
