Orientani Technology

The Orientani have adapted all their former technology into magical enchantments. Many of these enchantments are run using enchanted crystals that produce power such as jeremejevite or meliphanite. Alternately, all Orientani enchantments can be recharged using blood magic, and soul burners are considered  an alternative to the energy provided by power crystals. Because of the need for minimal magical ability to work Orientani tech, the Empire sees all non-mages as a significantly impaired, and their large numbers make them only useful as fodder for blood magic.
