Angels
Angels are a race of magically powerful humanoids that are on the opposite spectrum of the mana cycle from demons. They are involved with shepherding the very fast flowing mana that is produced from creative processes into the mana streams of the world. As the mana in a world shrinks Angels can fall into the dreaming though they can survive on much less then other magical races. They can also encourage creativity in the other races in order to produce enough mana to keep them from the dreaming.
They come from the same home dimension as the demons; but rather then coming from the desert area that makes up most of the world, they come from the polar regions which are moist and have much in the way of natural resources lacking in the demon controlled areas. Because of this many wars have been fought as demons try to take over the resource rich edges of Angel territory.
Angels have a highly technological and magical society, and are experts in creation magics including those that make new races. There is however a number of rules in regards to how they use their magic, and try not to interfere with the development of other races. There society is more democratic then the demonic but at the same time is more rules oriented and bureaucratic.
Angels fear the dilution of their race due to intermingling with Demons, and in general will attack demons whenever possible. Angels can not be bound by a demonic link.
