Elves

The Elven race was created by an Angel to give an immortal Fae a mortal lifespan. They all are slim, tall, good looking in human terms, and have pointed ears. Many have fantastical hair and eye colours. They all are mages and can manipulate the faster moving mana present in the ley lines. They live about 400 years.

Their communities are native to the Caledon world and they largely did not leave to other dimensions when the Fae did. Being mortal and not requiring mana to survive they did not fall into the dreaming, and their race has been largely diluted by two thousand years of interbreeding with humans. Though there are very few isolated communities that have a small number of individuals who exhibit more elven traits then human.

The return of mana woke Elven magic up in many individuals who have Elven heritage, but unlike the Fae none were part of the dreaming.
