Red Caps

Red Caps are small wizened red headed creatures about dwarf size. All their teeth are pointed and their hair drips with blood, so they tend to cover it using caps or turbans which turn red; hence their name. They are particularly violent and survive magically by fighting with other creatures or among themselves to produce mana which they can then use to avoid the dreaming. They can also cause those around them to become argumentative and aggressive.

Modern magical scholars have sometimes attributed unprovoked road rage or riots to the presence of Red Caps. Those who do not pledge themselves to a more powerful Fae creature tend to run amok until killed or brought into the service of a Fae or a demon.
